Fine Artist - Illustrator - Scientific Writer

From a young age, I was captivated by the anatomy section of my family’s old Encyclopedia Britannica, especially the transparent anatomical overlays in Volume H. Those pages opened my mind to the unseen world within my own body. I became fascinated with seeing the human body's complexity mapped out, in simplistic imagery, piece by piece. That curiosity has stayed with me throughout my life, guiding my path as an artist and fueling my deep interest in the intersection between art and science.
My work today is a blend of those two passions—an exploration of the human form, both physical and emotional. One of the most meaningful experiences of my artistic journey was curating a mental health-focused exhibition that used art to encourage conversation and challenge the stigma surrounding mental health. That project cemented my belief that art can be a tool for social change, a vehicle to make someone think, offering a way to communicate complex ideas and connect with people on a deeper level.

Looking forward to a career in Scientific Illustration, I’m excited to bring together my background in fine art with my interest in anatomy and human systems. I believe I believe that I can help lend understanding by translating complex concepts into accessible, relatable imagery. My goal is to contribute to this field by creating work that not only educates but also evokes empathy and curiosity, making the unseen visible in a way that connects with both the scientific community and the wider public.
